You've *NEVER* Seen a Set of Prospects Like 70 Ranch's Yearling Sale on Thanksgiving 2023.

This Thanksgiving, 70 Ranch will offer an unmatched set of yearlings out of blue-hen mares like Nicky Brick House, RC Back In Black, Rods Last Ladybug and Famous Silk Panties. They are all by the performance and race horse industry's top sires - Corona Cartel, First Down Dash, Epic Leader and Feel The Sting.


With 12 lots in the sale, the ranch will showcase the products of its top-notch breeding program in the 70 Ranch Yearling Sale. While all stand to shape the programs lucky enough to win them Nov. 23 in the online auction, here are some highlights:

By the $70 million AQHA Hall of Fame sire Corona Cartel, Wiicked is out of First Down Dash daughter Revv It Up who won $277,000 herself and has already produced two full siblings to this filly that have won over $240,000.


"Whether you want to take one to the track, the barrel pen or the rope horse futurities, they do not come any better than this," Solo Select's Melanie Smith said. "She will be an irreplaceable asset to anyone's breeding program after her performance career."

"A filly with a pedigree like this could be the next industry altering producer," Smith said. "Fire Water Flit speaks for himself. He is one of the most prolific sires of the barrel racing industry with over $3.5 million in earners."


Flitnicky's dam, Nicky Brick House, was one of the late Judd Little’s most prominent producers, with winners like A Valiant Nicky (LTE $140,508) and Dashin In Heaven (LTE $110,249).

A stallion prospect for the ages, Epnickk is by $3.1 million producer Epic Leader and out of the iconic Nick Brick House.


"70 Ranch did exceptional work by breeding Nicky Brick House to Epic Leader," Smith said. "This combination is impossible to find in a stallion prospect. With what that mare has produced already, and with her having passed, there's never going to be another one like this colt."


He is the perfect DAPPLE GRAY with a big, pretty eye and a head full of sense. He is a top-level futurity prospect that is eligible for every major incentive, and ready to start under saddle in the program of your choice.

Famous Silk Panties built a legacy as the winningest barrel racing futurity mare of all time with over $237,000 in earnings, and she's produced winners, too.


"She has produced multiple winners in the arena include Old Fort Days Futurity Reserve Champion, SR Godiva and BFA Finalist SR Schill B Commando," Smith explained. "This colt is absolutely beautiful and has all the attributes to be a big-time stallion prospect and futurity prospect for anyones program."


The kind of stallion prospect that owners can build an entire program around, Captain Underpants is one of the industry's most exceptional crosses, marrying the sport's two winningest bloodlines of the $4 million sire Epic Leader and Famous Silk Panties. Backkfire is by the legend himself, Fire Water Flit and out of the NFR mare RC Back In Black, dam to BLACKKOUT, the 2-year-old stallion that recently sold for $875,000 at this years Pink Buckle Sale.


RC Back In Black won three NFR go-rounds and was the runner-up at the Pendleton Roundup, showing her versatility on the toughest stages in the sport. She has been a strong producer so far, with winners like Slick N Black with $268,940 in LTE so far.


"This filly is an outstanding individual with ALL of the potential in the world," Smith said. "Pick your training program wisely. She has the chance to be big time, and you’re going to spend a lot of time with that trainer in the winners circle!"
