Ruidoso, New Mexico - Solo Select made a strong debut at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, highlighted by Hes No Politician, an Apollitical Jess colt out of Sheza Freighttrain T selling for $230,000. With 8 of their 26 consignments exceeding the $100,000 mark, Solo Select's presence was clearly felt at their inaugural Ruidoso sale.
"We had significant interest in the horses throughout the week," said Butch Wise. "Solo Select was very well received by buyers, and that enthusiasm carried into the sale. We have an exceptional set of yearlings lined up for day two."
Among the top sellers were I Make Candy (Jess Good Candy x Candy Cartels Cat), consigned by Solo Select, Agent for PV Quarter Horse Farms LLC, which brought $152,000, My Favorite Sass (Favorite Cartel x Jess Sass Me) consigned by Solo Select, Agent for Speed LLC at $135,000 and Painted Valiant Lady (PYC Paint Your Wagon x Valiant Jess), consigned by Solo Select, Agent for Speed LLC, at $115,000. Other notable sales included Mr Musk and Mail Money, both sold for $100,000 and consigned by Solo Select, Agent for McColee Land & Livestock LLC. Additionally, Sleipnir (Apollitical Blood x Breck N Records), consigned by Solo Select, Agent for Victor M. Diaz, and Rovos Rail (Freighttrain B x Mavara Vegas), consigned by Solo Select, Agent for Bird Ranch & Oil LP, each fetched $100,000.

We're excited for day two."
Solo Select will present their second set of yearlings today at 4 pm.
