Metallics MVP, the 2022 NCHA Open World Champion, will stand at Solo Select in Gainesville, Texas, for the 2025 breeding season.
Metallics MVP, a red roan stallion by Metallic Cat out of My Lizzy Babe, has rapidly become a leading figure in the cutting horse industry, thanks to his remarkable pedigree and outstanding achievements in the arena.
Guided by EquiStat Elite $5.5 Million Dollar Rider Beau Galyean and $6 Million Dollar Rider Tim Smith, Metallics MVP had a career that earned him $345,159, capturing the NCHA Open World Championship along the way.

"Metallics MVP is more than just a champion; he's a horse that has captured the hearts of everyone who has seen him compete," Tim Smith said. "He's earned the nickname 'the People's Horse' for a reason. His consistency, intelligence and cow sense are unmatched, and his offspring are already showing the same promise."
My Lizzy Babe, Metallics MVP’s dam, is a stellar mare in her own right, having earned $174,653 in her cutting career. She’s proven herself as a producer, too, with her offspring accumulating over $688,000 in earnings so far. My Lizzy Babe is a full sister to the incredible show horse Moms Stylish Player, who boasts lifetime earnings of $431,682.
"This is MVP's first full crop to hit the show pen, and the feedback from trainers has been exceptional," said John Kratzer, one of three partners on Metallics MVP. "I was blessed to own his dam, My Lizzy Babe, and when I got the opportunity to buy him, I had to jump at the chance. After purchasing MVP, Beau Galyean suggested that we haul him for the world, which obviously turned out to be great advice. We are incredibly grateful to Beau Galyean Stallion Services for their dedication, instrumental guidance and support in promoting MVP’s success. We look forward to continuing his legacy at Solo Select."
"This horse is conformationally made to be a sire, and he’s destined to be a sire of multiple disciplines,” Ty Smith, CEO of Solo Select Horses, added. “It's clear he is going to make a mark in cutting, but with his size, we believe he will cross over to cow horse, roping and other disciplines exceptionally well."
As Metallics MVP transitions to Solo Select Horses, the excitement continues to build for his influence as a sire and beyond. His 2025 breeding fee will be $5,000 plus chute fee. Metallics MVP will remain in his existing incentive enrollments, with new opportunities on the horizon—including automatic enrollment in the Solo Stallion Roping Incentive and an exclusive, lucrative Metallics MVP incentive.
