Purchasing from Solo Select
These instructions ONLY apply to our PRIVATE SALE HORSES – NOT auction horses!Â
IMPORTANT:
HORSES ARE NOT HELD FOR ANY REASON, UNLESS A WIRE HAS BEEN INITIATED OR A TRACKING NUMBER FOR A CHECK HAS BEEN SENT.Â
VET CHECKS ARE WELCOME AT BUYERS EXPENSE. HORSES WILL NOT BE HELD PENDING VET CHECKS THAT DO NOT OCCUR SAME DAY.
(For example, if it is Monday and you schedule a vet check for Thursday, the horse will be available if any other buyer commits between Monday and Thursday morning. Horse will not be sold the day of the vet check if they are still available.)
We can easily connect you with transporters to ship horses world-wide. You have seven (7) days of comped board to find a ride for your horses/arrange pickup. After 7 days, you will incur all board bills, which must be paid before your horse departs.Â
You take immediate responsibility for any accidents, foaling charges, death, etc of any horse(s) when you commit to purchasing them. Solo Select HIGHLY recommends insuring your purchase immediately. We can refer you to an insurance agent to do this.Â
You will receive a Sale Agreement (sent as an “e-sign” to your email) after committing to purchasing a horse. This needs to be completed for us to mark your horse sold. There is a place on this sale agreement to fill out your AQHA information.Â
Breed registry papers will be transferred to you directly in the association. We DO NOT mail papers directly to you for any reason, no exception.Â
Solo Select will provide a Coggins and Health Certificate at our cost.Â
