We offer weekly aspirations at Solo Select - you may haul-in on Mondays to have your mare aspirated. This process usually takes about 1 hour from start to finish. This is an EXCELLENT avenue for mare owners who are trying to keep mares shown or owners that live locally. Call or text our office to get on the schedule at 903-436-7021

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a specialized reproductive technique where a single sperm is directly injected into an egg to achieve fertilization. ICSI in horses is especially advantageous for mare owners aiming to freeze embryos or obtain multiple embryos during a mare's show career without interrupting her performance schedule. It is also an important avenue to explore if you are addressing fertility issues in mares or stallions, or dealing with a stallion with limited frozen semen due to a show schedule or untimely death.
Our customers have found great success in achieving multiple pregnancies from one mare during a single breeding season. This not only accelerates a mare's career as a producer by getting foals on the ground earlier - it can also maximizes a mare owner's investment by ensuring foals hit the ground while she is being shown. Many mare owners also choose to freeze embryos as a safeguard against the loss of a mare.
Additionally, some mares benefit from reduced stress, as they do not have to endure daily palpations, flushes, and multiple attempts at artificial insemination. Instead, many of our mares spend the breeding season turned out or being shown while their frozen embryos are implanted.
